City transport

Bus

RATP tickets, coupons and cards are valid for both metro and buses, one ticket per trip. You must punch the tickets but not the coupons or cards.

Metro

One ticket is valid for one trip regardless of the distance travelled. It is cheaper to buy 10 tickets at a time, ask for a "carnet" (sold in metro stations, and also in tobacco outlets, recognizable by the distinctive red cigar emblem) : www.ratp.fr

There are many parking meter spaces in Paris, indicated by a sign with a white P on a blue background.

Taxis.

On arrival, the meter will already show a certain amount. That amount, which corresponds to the price of the journey made to pick you up, is charged to you. There are three rates, according to the time and distance from the city centre: Rate A - in Paris from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Rate B - in the outer suburbs and in Paris after 7 p.m., on Sundays and public holidays; Rate C - the outer suburbs at night.

For a taxi phone one of the following numbers :

  • Taxi Bleu : +33 1 49 36 10 10
  • G7 Taxi : +33 1 47 39 47 39
  • Taxi Radio Étoile : +33 1 42 70 41 41
  • Taxis Sept Mille : +33 1 42 70 00 42

    Have a good trip !
